EDIT: Kept feeling a bit unfinished to me, so I polished up the transformation to full high-temperature version. I referenced actual flames for this and if anyone were to take a look at my youtube history would probably conclude I have some bizarre fetish for bunsen burners...

Seriously, though, the blue flames are almost invisible in normal light and get super transparent towards the centre, so I took some artistic liberties and just made her glow white.

Oh, one final note, this is more of a flight of fancy illustration, she will not appear in the comic like that. There's other stuff though! :]

The idea occurred to me while listening to Audioslave.

The idea of shedding one's skin really falls in line with Nulmiril throwing off her hroa (physical body) and transforming into a flame spirit.

Looked up some subsurface scattering, because honestly, I don't quite know how the body looks when turning aflame from the inside...
