The Ladies

But hey, guess what? She has a mom, too. And I never drew her - or at least, never posted any of those sketches. XD

Nulmiril's and Liniriel's mother, Lonaltiel, is on the left in both sketches. She's a very proud creature, fully knows her worth, and is interested in keeping her high position in society. She's a Vanya, and one of the firstborn at that - so you could say she has a lot to be proud of. Her younger daughter, too, is another point of pride. Liniriel turned out so much better than Nulmiril - mainly because Liniriel is the kindest, most graceful soul that would never think of siding with The Enemy. The older sis has a lot of skeletons in her closet. Maybe almost literally.

Anyway, at the bottom you have the three together, for comparison's sake - both in attitudes and facial proportions. You can tell who the mongrel is instantly.

The top sketch was drawn second (yes, this is arranged backwards... oops). Initially I just wanted to draw the mom and the daughter, but then figured Lini's friend would make a nice addition... and then realised she may be confused for Nulmiril, so I added her standing behind the blondes. No scars yet because the only time Miri would be in the company of her family and other elves was before running away and acquiring her decorations.
