Last to descend

So.

I've been kicking some ideas around for the Valar (with my obsession with Tolkien, how could I NOT desecrate The Silmarillion with my ideas?!!).

Since I'm me - perfectionistic, overthinking, highly-obsessive artist with an animated style approach - these will look very different from what most people expect the Valar to look like. My main goal would be to stray away from the typical "oversized elf" approach while still trying to retain as much appeal in the individual designs as possible.

However, they will all still look profoundly weird. Therefore, I am tossing out this preview to see how people react. If you like this type of stuff, fine. If not - that's fair, too. I'll just keep all these future designs to myself. :]

Anyway, here we have my first couple of stabs (literally the only two drawings of him I've done so far!) at Tulkas. He will get fleshed out further, there's lots of things to think about. I'm enjoying this creative process a lot and feel somewhat giddy over the prospect of developing him more.
