Everybody's favourite demon by ancalinar Everybody's favourite demon by ancalinar
As promised, more Pergamentia for sashamya - most voluptuous, alluring babe that ever... babed!

Gosh, she was so much fun to draw! Probably because my usual fare (Nulmiril) is way less endowed - her thing is muscle - and having more volumes to play with is just so so so fun!

Anyway, thank you again for letting me draw her - and I'm sorry if I got any colour wrong, I am still playing around with a new way of colouring things. So far, I like it. :]

Also available on my tumblr.

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuughhhhhh

First off - no colors are wrong, everything is perfect. EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. I love the shape of her body and the HAIR, and pleased with herself you made her look. Perg's always known she's hot stuff and you captured it perfectly. This entire comment is going to be nonsensical gushing but this makes me so happy! Also, you did a great job on the boobs. Sometimes having a character that can randomly cheesecake can be a fun thing (I cannot see Miri randomly cheesecaking. In my head it starts then is hard to take seriously or Kadir becomes confused. ... Will I get in trouble if I draw Miri cheesecake?)

Is it weird that your drawings of her have made me go "Yea, she'd probably get lazy and just go around in underwear sometimes and go "what?" at people who questioned her."?

Thank you thankyou thankyou! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Hahaha awesome!!! I really love nailing the look of a solidly-designed character(seriously go you!!) and as I mentioned before I really do have a need for making people squeal with joy. Maybe this is how I feed. >>

Miri cheesecake! XD I love the idea - she is proud of her looks, though mostly from a "I have the body of an elite warrior, I am a fighting machine.... I am fire. I am death! I am Bumpercar Crumplezone." She wouldn't go flexing biceps on a beach, but she enjoys being built for strength, speed and flexibility and will always be happier breaking knees than breaking hearts?

I don't quite know how Kadír would react, though - he already seems pretty moonstruck.

I think living as long as she has has made her pretty... disinterested in cheesecaking - though she is certainly capable of being seductive and alluring and all those other ways her body can be a weapon.

I also strongly suspect she loves cheesecake, the dessert.

And again. Perg is super super super fun. Holy carp! Thank you for letting me play around with her. :3

Aw, "solidly-designed" is such a compliment, thank you! I'm sure you know how it feels to love your characters while going "but from an outside perspective do they work?" (hint: yours do.) Feeding off of squeals of joy might be tough, that's a lot of hard work ahead of you. I'll do my best to help.

In general I kind of figure elves would be a bit like demons in the "why would I be ashamed I'm basically physically perfect" way. When Miri was fine wandering around with hair-shirt in DO it became apparent she was at least pretty secure with everything going on, if not proud of it. She doesn't have to actually BREAK hearts, just tug at them?

Confused-moonstruck-puppy?

EVERYONE loves cheesecake, the dessert. (or everyone should) Dessert Oasis? The spin off? If I thought hard enough about that I could turn this into a big innuendo.

Thank YOU, you did an amazing job on her, and I love how she came out!

Oh, man. I'm really glad to hear you say that - my characters work for others, too. It's like unlocking a super-hard achievement in a video game!

Nulmiril has the experience of also not having a physical body (highly convenient) - and the mortal raiments she acquired, she wanted 'extra' perfect. You read her excellently - she's damned proud of what she has, scars and all. And the more I think on it, the more 'tugging' at hearts would be totally up her alley, especially if she can exploit looking intimidatingly glorious. She's not without her own odd sense of vanity, after all.

Haha confused-moonstruck-puppy sounds like a good reaction from him.

I've had a couple of people say they enjoy Dessert Oasis a lot, which always makes me wonder - are they talking a slice of tiramisu in an endless desert of smoked sea salt, or an oasis of soy sauce nestled comfortably among caster sugar dunes?

And oh you. You keep talking like that I may just draw her again. e.e

Your characters are great, and I'm honestly completely envious of anyone who can draw proper comics about their characters because it is such a good way to really introduce people to their personalities, manner of speaking, stories, etc. At least for me I know there are so many stories built up in my head that are going to stay there because there's no way to put them all out there tangibly. So, extra stars for you.

I assume not having a body would also play to the not having, for lack of a better term, shame. If you're not brought up to feel like your body is something you keep private, and just obtain it then really the only reason to cover it would be for protection or warmth. I can see Miri getting kind of annoyed at being outright dismissed as an attractive being. HEY, you need to recognize when you look at a precious gem. Perg would be irritated at least.

Mmmmm, Dessert Oasis. I'd totally eat that, minus the soysauce. I need to try and make this a thing.

NOOOOOO...maybe.

Aw, shucks, you. :b

Why not make mini comics? Honestly, the only reason DO started is because I told myself I oughtn't be a perfectionist just ONCE, and post the bloody thing. People liked it and I thought, "hmm. Maybe I ought to do this more often!"

There's a long backstory here, but she was raised from infancy with a physical body, so she at least understands why covering one's arse is a good idea. It's funny you should use 'precious gem' in your sentence, her name does mean "Dusky Jewel" in Quenya... but these are such tiny details I don't know if anyone but a few people would care to know. But attention is a tricky thing for her - too little isn't fun, but too much, and all of a sudden there's all these questions... and there's enough stains on her past where that's not quite a good thing.

Maybe? I take that as a yes. Which - good, you shouldn't deny me the fun. ಠ_ಠ

I have found I am awful at mini-comics because I don't have the patience to do that many images at once, and after maybe two the image consistency starts going a bit wonky. All my mini-comics are sort of poorly drawn and work out to "thing" "thing said in response" "pause" "punch line". I love seeing character interaction, but I am sort of bad at doing it myself.

There are always people out there that need a Silmarillion. Who see the entire story and go YES BUT I ALSO NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING BEFORE THAT AND ALL THE OTHER LITTLE DETAILS WHAT DO THEY EAT FOR LUNCH??? Which is why people love wiki so much. Not everyone wants to know the minutia, but some people do, I'm one of them, all the crap I remember about my own characters is usually utterly pointless (Perg's favorite food is honey, her boyfriend's favorite food is pineapple. I remember this from when I was 16 and neither bit of information comes up ever.) She's in a good place in DO, she's getting attention from one person that she enjoys, who she can (at least for now) fend off extra questions from. Possibly harder to do once she displays more of what she is while saving him (I SPECULATE).

Getting gift art always makes me a simpering, happy fool. It's part YAY, GIFT. and part YAY, YOU ALSO APPROVE OF MY CHARACTER.

Pshhhh! I bet you could squeeze out at least a one-panel scene! Of Perg and her beau. There doesn't need to be dialogue, even... Eh? Eh? Show us one glimpse of their relationship, or making peanut-butter-pineapple-honey sandwiches. Or something!

If I'm not being transparent enough, the above was an attempt to trick you into drawing something. >> I'm sorry I'm not very subtle, but I gave up trying long ago.

I'm glad that you allow reciprocate explosions of character expositions from me - just like gift art, it somehow reads "omg, she approves of Miri!!" in my mind.
