Too pink?
Also, making this a Valentine, cause I think it's pink enough, though there aren't any hearts per se.

Eh, maybe. It's been mentioned to me this particular pairing needs to happen 'more'. Sometimes that acts as incentive for me to draw that 'more'. Plus it kind of fell in line with Valentine's day. I think the two are off to some cheesy carnival for their first date where Jack will win a giant stuffed bear in a sharpshooting booth, with Shy looking on bashfully twirling her hair, and then they will drink root beer floats 'till they explode. ...I dislike root beer floats, personally.

Anyway, again, I have no particular loyalty to any one couple - I just think this theme appeals to me because of happy pastel-y colours, and because I enjoy drawing girls being pretty and stuff.

I dont know how you did it but you did it well. You catched their personalities perfectly in their expressions. The honest and demanding, self confident Applejack with the shy but not averse Fluttershy. Her embarrassment makes it even cuter. I really like your style. Of course I like many pictures but there are only three or four drawing styles I really like and yours is one of them
